4.5 acres of open space and a peaceful lake in North Garden — donated to the community by NGVFC charter member Buddy Cutright and his wife Patsie in 2009. Free to visit, free to enjoy.

This property was generously donated in 2009 by charter NGVFC member Arley E. "Buddy" Cutright and his wife Patsie — a lasting gift to the North Garden community. Buddy passed away in 2006; the lake stands as a living tribute to his decades of service.

The Cutright Legacy

Arley "Buddy" Cutright served as a charter member of the North Garden Volunteer Fire Company, dedicating years of service to protecting this community. He and his wife Patsie donated this 4.5-acre property — open space and lake — so it could be enjoyed by neighbors for generations to come. Buddy passed in 2006; the property was formally gifted in 2009 in his memory.

Fireworks and pyrotechnics of any kind are strictly prohibited on the property.

Dry Fire Hydrant Zone

No parking within 50 feet of the marked dry fire hydrant at the edge of the lake — it must remain accessible.

Protect the Grounds

No driving on the grass during conditions or with vehicles that would cause damage to the property.

Fishing License Required
